On February 19th, 2026, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that it will be holding an investigation title USMCA Automotive Rules of origin: Economic Impact and Operations, 2027 Report. This investigation will audit the rules of origin under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
