Senate Bill 2555, the ìReducing Global Warming Pollution from Vehicles Act of 2008,î instructs President Bush to sign the California waiver enabling the state, and others who have adopted the Clean Car Program, to move forward with more stringent GHG standards. H.R. 5638, introduced by Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., creates an exception from infringement for certain component parts used to repair another article of manufacture.
