Keller Elected ASA General Director
Bedford, Texas, April 1, 1997-- Jim Keller, president of Motorcar Body and Paint, Milwaukee, Wis., was elected to the Automotive Service Association (ASA) 1997 national board of directors as general director. Keller's election to the two-year term was announced during the ASA Annual Convention, held March 11-16, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Keller has been a member of ASA since 1987. He was instrumental in founding ASA-Wisconsin and served as state president from 1990 to 1992. He also has served on the ASA Collision Division Operations Committee.
Keller's business is an Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) Gold Class Shop. He has served as I-CAR state chairman and has been on numerous I-CAR national committees. Keller has also served as a member of the Steering, Technical and Marketing Committees for the I-CAR Uniform Auto Repair Procedures.
He is advisory chair for the Waukesha County Technical College Collision Technology Program. Keller is a former management instructor for 3M and Dawn Enterprises.
