Clevenger Receives ASA Mechanical Division Alpha Award
Bedford, Texas, April 7, 1997-- Juel Clevenger, owner of Delta Lube and Tune Up Center, Lee's Summit, Mo., received the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Mechanical Division Alpha Award for his significant contributions to the automotive repair industry in 1996. The award was presented to Clevenger during the ASA Annual Convention, held March 11-16, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Clevenger is in his second year as president of the Greater Kansas City ASA Chapter and previously served four years as chapter vice president and treasurer. He recently received an award from the Convenient Automotive Service Institute (CASI) for his work in recycling and conservation of automotive refrigerants, oil filters, used oil, batteries and scrap metal.
He has been an ASA member since 1982 and been in the automotive repair business for 16 years.
