ASA Names Hanley Wood Associate of the Year

BEDFORD, TEXAS, May 25, 2007 - The Automotive Service Association (ASA) presented the Associate of the Year award to Hanley Wood Exhibitions - the company that manages the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) - during ASA's Celebration of Excellence May 5 in Nashville, Tenn. The annual award was given in appreciation of Hanley Wood's relationship with ASA and for the value, quality and professional service they offer to ASA members. Galen Poss accepted the award, which was presented by Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive.

"It has been a terrific 25-year relationship and we have been honored to have served the association, its membership and the industry during this time," said Poss, president, Hanley Wood. "It's hard to imagine having a better business partner than ASA."

ASA's Celebration of Excellence ceremony was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center - in the same room where the initial NACE event was held in 1983. The awards ceremony honors the achievements of ASA members and industry partners. The next Celebration of Excellence will be held during the ASA Annual Convention May 1-3, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, Calif.

The Automotive Service Association is the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind dedicated to and governed by independent automotive service and repair professionals.
