Annual Convention Early-Bird Discount Ends Friday
Online Registration Ends April 20

BEDFORD, TEXAS, March 21, 2007 - The Automotive Service Association (ASA) issues a reminder of the early-bird registration deadline of March 23 for the 2007 Annual Convention that will be held May 3-5 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. Members who register before the early-bird deadline will enjoy significant savings. In addition, members are encouraged to register promptly as hotel rooms are going quickly.

Highlighting the agenda will be open meetings of the ASA affiliate assembly and board of directors, ASA's Mechanical and Collision Divisions Forum, and a State of the Association address by Ron Pyle, ASA's president and chief staff executive. Patrick Grady will teach two Automotive Management Institute (AMI) courses. The event will also host the association's annual Celebration of Excellence and AMI's graduation ceremony.

On Thursday, May 3, ASA's mechanical and collision divisions will present an open forum discussion covering a variety of topics that directly impact the daily operations and profitability of independent automotive service and repair businesses.

ASA's Affiliate Assembly will hold an open meeting Friday, May 4, addressing various initiatives that affect the association. Attendees are invited to attend the Industry reception Friday evening.

On Saturday, May 5, members are invited to share lunch with the ASA board of directors and hear an overview of the association's initiatives and its many successes over the past year during the annual State of the Association address. Members are also encouraged to stay for the ASA board of directors meeting and take part in the governance of the association.

Online registration is open at www.ASAshop.org/Annual07 until April 20. The early-bird discount ends Friday, March 23. In addition to providing secure, convenient online registration, the ASA Annual Convention Web site also includes daily agendas, education courses, a list of sponsors and group tour information.
