Patrick T. Grady to Present Seminars at ASA Annual Convention

BEDFORD, TEXAS, Feb. 9, 2007 - Management education courses are on the agenda at the 2007 Automotive Service Association (ASA) Annual Convention May 3-5 in Nashville, Tenn. Patrick T. Grady, who delivered a powerful, humorous and memorable keynote at the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) in 2005, will be presenting "All Stressed Up and No Place to Go" and "Got Change?"

Both courses are Automotive Management Institute (AMI) approved, and attendees can earn six AMI credits for each class. Grady inspires audiences with his funny, yet meaningful, messages. His presentations are packed with stories that audiences can relate to, which shed insight and provide solutions for improving professional and personal lives.

"All Stressed Up and No Place to Go!" emphasizes how self-image can be directly tied to performance level and can, in fact, be an "achievement regulator." This seminar will show attendees how to raise self-image and performance through motivational strategies that inspire people to serve. Other topics that Grady will address include: motivation, people management, family life, self-esteem, handling stress and goal-setting strategies.

"We are excited to have Patrick's dynamic personality and high-energy delivery come to the annual convention," said Bill Haas, vice president of education and training. "Stress and change are emotional drains that affect every facet of your life. Patrick will prepare you to better deal with these emotions that can make a difference in your life."

The "Got Change" session will allow Grady to provide insight on how everyone can learn to build their commitment to making changes. He will help leaders identify hidden resistances and overcome the challenges that stand in the way of implementing change.

To take advantage of these two seminars, as well as numerous networking sessions, attend the Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony, participate in association business and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, please be sure to attend the ASA Annual Convention. The early-bird registration deadline will be March 23. Online registration will soon be available. Visit www.ASAshop.org for the latest details or call (800) 272-7467, ext. 220.
