ASA Members Receive Program Pricing on Expanded ALLDATA Diagnostic, Repair Info

New Service Delivers Collision Repair Data

BEDFORD, TEXAS, Oct. 16, 2006 - Automotive Service Association (ASA) members - through an agreement with ALLDATA - are eligible to receive price reductions on ALLDATA's electronic diagnostic and repair information for professional service providers. ASA members qualify for discounts on initialization fees as well as reduced costs on monthly subscription fees.

This benefit has now been expanded with the launch of ALLDATA's comprehensive collision service, CollisionConnect.

"Current information-gathering techniques are costly, time consuming and confusing. This does not have to be the case anymore," says Dan Espersen, ALLDATA senior collision program manager. "Ask yourself each time you are faced with a technical problem, what it would be like to have instant single-source access to the manufacturer's published material. It is now available to you with ALLDATA's CollisionConnect service."

ALLDATA's OEM information can be used in working with new materials, sectioning procedures, weld locations, hybrid technology and more. Manufacturers' information can also reduce sublet and cement relationships with insurance providers. ALLDATA's collision repair information is currently available as a three-hour fax-back service from ALLDATA's extensive library, which is staffed by automotive service professionals.

"With the increased complexity of today's vehicles, new materials and repair procedures, ASA is pleased to offer the ALLDATA product to our members, saving them money and helping them run successful businesses. With the addition of the OEM information to help our collision industry members, the ALLDATA benefit becomes even more valuable to the members we serve," said B.J. Johnson, ASA's director of membership development and affiliate relations.

To begin taking advantage of ALLDATA's discounted program pricing, ASA members should contact ALLDATA at (800) 697-2533 or visit www.alldata.com; or contact the ASA membership department at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295. ASA members currently using the ALLDATA system may contact ASA's membership department at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295, to inquire about ASA pricing.

To learn more about the value of ASA membership and the association's full benefit package, call (800) 272-7467, ext. 295, or access the electronic benefits portfolio within ASA OnDemand, which can be downloaded from www.ASAOnDemand.com.
