ASA Collision Division Presents
ASA/ASE Top Score Award at NACE

BEDFORD, TEXAS, Nov. 9, 2005 - Jim Witt, owner of Jim's Collision in Roscommon, Mich., received the Automotive Service Association's (ASA) National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Top Score Award during the 2005 International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE). ASA presents the award annually to recognize the individual employed by an ASA member shop with the highest score on the ASE master collision repair/refinish test. Darrell Amberson, AAM, ASA Collision Division director, presented the award at a NACE luncheon Friday, Nov. 4. Tony Molla, vice president of communications for ASE, and Geralynn Kottschade, AAM, NACE chairman and immediate past chairman of ASA, was also present for the award presentation.

"Jim began his career as a young man and has grown into a successful and talented independent collision business owner with a desire to transfer his success to his children," said Amberson. "With actions speaking louder than words, Mr. Witt exhibits his character and integrity by devoting time and services to [his] community."
