BEDFORD, TEXAS, July 7, 2004 - Online registration for the 2004 Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) is now available on the CARS Web site (www.CARSonline.org). CARS will be held Nov. 4-6 at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Attendees may use the secure online form to register for several activities, including technical courses and management seminars, as well as arrange housing accommodations.

Members of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) registering online before Sept. 27, 2004, can take advantage of a $100 discount. In addition, all attendees who register by Sept. 27 will receive credentials to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) and the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) shows, as well as ASA's International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE), all being held during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW).

In addition, Oct. 8 is the deadline to register for ASA's Celebration of Excellence dinner to be held at the Flamingo Las Vegas. ASA members who purchase a full registration to CARS will receive a complimentary ticket to the Nov. 5 event. Attendees should register for the Celebration of Excellence when they complete the CARS registration form.

CARS provides several networking opportunities in addition to ASA's Celebration of Excellence, including the third annual Service Professionals Industry Reception co-sponsored by ASA and the International Automotive Technicians' Network (iATN), and an exhibitor showcase featuring the latest in automotive products and services. CARS is the premier event of ASA's mechanical division and will feature seven technical courses and three Automotive Management Institute-approved management courses. Complementing the schedule this year, seven automobile manufacturers will present new product technology sessions during the show.
