ASA Announces New Member Benefit:
CustomerLink Provides Discounts for ASA Members
BEDFORD, TEXAS, April 27, 2004 - Through an agreement with CustomerLink Systems Inc., the Automotive Service Association (ASA) announces another new member benefit. ASA national members can now receive special discounts on several CustomerLink services.
ASA's newest member benefit provider is a premier source for customer development services for the independent automotive service and repair industry. Using personalized, custom communications to target vehicle owners, the CustomerLink service encourages consumers to return to their independent service provider several times throughout the year for manufacturers' recommended services, technician-recommended services, seasonal maintenance and wear-item replacement.
"CustomerLink is very pleased to become a sponsored benefit provider for the Automotive Service Association. We've worked with ASA for over two years now and the benefits for CustomerLink are obvious - some of the best-run service facilities in the industry are ASA members," said Walt Samuelson, president and CEO, CustomerLink Systems Inc. "We feel our customer development programs are a perfect fit for ASA service centers. It just made sense for CustomerLink to upgrade our commitment to the ASA membership."
John Scully, ASA's executive vice president, said, "We are pleased to announce this valuable savings for national members. This new benefit will help members develop repeat, full-service customers, high-quality customer referrals and the ability to optimize bay scheduling. ASA puts its members first; CustomerLink allows our members to put customers first."
CustomerLink will be one of several companies exhibiting at this year's Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS). "We are looking forward to being a corporate sponsor at CARS again this year and getting to know more ASA member service centers," said Samuelson.
CustomerLink offers customized coupons, promotions, customer satisfaction surveys and customer appreciation correspondence. For additional information about this benefit or others, call ASA at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295, or visit ASA's Web site at www.asashop.org (click on Member Benefits).
The Automotive Service Association is the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind, serving more than 12,000 businesses and approximately 70,000 professionals from all segments of the automotive service industry. ASA's headquarters is in Bedford, Texas.
ASA advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. Additional information about ASA, including past news releases, is available on the ASA Web Site on the Internet (http://www.asashop.org).
