ASA Announces AutoWatch as New Member Benefit Provider
BEDFORD, TEXAS, April 8, 2004 - The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced a new member benefit to provide ASA members with special discounts on AutoWatch, a customer service and marketing tool for collision repair professionals. The program creates a customized Web site for collision repair facilities and allows vehicle owners to view digital photos of their vehicle throughout the repair process via the Internet. In addition to the latest vehicle repair status, the shop's Web site also provides the estimated delivery date and a convenient e-mail link to the assigned service advisor.
"AutoWatch provides body shop operators with a unique win-win-win solution. Their customers win with an unmatched level of customer service; insurers win with improved communication throughout the repair; and the shop wins with substantially fewer phone calls, more satisfied customers and more efficient communication with their business partners," said John Scully, AAM, ASA's executive vice president. "We are very pleased to promote AutoWatch to our members and feel that they should seriously consider using this program."
Dave Henderson, president of See Progress Inc., developer of the AutoWatch program, said, "We are pleased ASA has chosen AutoWatch as one of its member benefit providers. ASA is the premier organization representing the professional collision repairer and we are honored to be associated with them."
Additional information regarding this ASA member benefit or others may be obtained by calling the association at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295.
