Opening Day a Success!
As chair of the 17th annual NACE, the world's largest collision repair event, I would like to welcome you to Atlanta! Yesterday, NACE offered AMI and I-CAR courses, PBEA and AAIA Jobber sessions, spouses' programs, and congress seminars. The day ended with a great performance by country music superstar Trisha Yearwood. Wow! What a great way to kick off a great event!
This morning, Dr. Robert Gates, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, delivered our keynote address. This was followed at 10 a.m. with the official opening of the NACE '99 Exposition. Here, attendees found more than 2,500 exhibit booths covering well over a quarter-million square feet of exhibit hall space. Nowhere else in the world is this amount of technology and expertise available all in one space. I consider it a real privilege to be able to visit so many knowledgeable individuals, see and compare their products, and take away their free samples. The Exposition really is the highlight of NACE.
To see more of the Exposition and get summaries of the classes, keynote presentations, and parties, please keep watching the Online Daily. We're here to keep you informed.
Once again, welcome to NACE '99.
