Welcome! ASA thanks you for taking time to learn about Camp Mak-A-Dream, a cancer camp for children and young adults. Very few people have escaped the reach of cancer, either directly or through a friend or family member. While each individual's experience is unique and personal, cancer is life-changing for everyone who knows its touch.
At Camp Mak-A-Dream, children and young adults have the opportunity to wake up each morning, for eight days with the opportunity to overcome their doubts and grasp a gentle root of toleration. By being around others going through similar struggles, children and young adults have a chance to deal with life's challenges in a supportive and uplifting environment.
ASA want to make it possible for more children and young adults to experience Camp Mak-A-Dream. If you would like to learn more about this effort and how you can help, please click on the More about Camp Mak-A-Dream button on the left.
