Make Plans Now to Attend ASRW

Well, summer is almost over and I hope you have had a great summer business season. Summer is the most profitable season for many of us in the auto repair business.

Gas mileage has been on everyone's mind lately, so you (our member) should be advertising about maintenance items that can increase fuel mileage. Things like injector service, new air filter, proper air pressure in tires, synthetic oil changes and correct driving habits can help get more miles per gallon (mpg). I have even seen a "Quick Lube" that is giving away $10 gas cards with their "premier oil service."

I hope by now you have heard of Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) in Las Vegas - Nov. 5-8, 2008.

If not, let me introduce you to ASA's new ASRW format. The International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) were already being held that week in Vegas, but at separate places. Now they will be co-located at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. This is to better serve you, our members. So come early and enjoy all that ASA and Las Vegas have to offer.
