Harley-Davidson Sportster Is NACE 2002 Grand Prize

A 2003 Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom Sportster will be given away at the 20th Annual International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE). The Sportster is one of Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary bikes and will arrive fully loaded, with its powerful 1200cc Evolution engine and raw-boned styling. The motorcycle will receive a custom paint job using today's most sophisticated paint systems, compliments of Valspar Refinish Inc. - the exclusive sponsor of this Grand Prize.

Attendees of NACE 2002 will be eligible to win the Grand Prize. During the event, 10 lucky attendees will discover a key ... one of which will fire up this legendary bike. Keys will be awarded from a pre-registration drawing, daily exposition drawings, at educational sessions and during general sessions. One lucky attendee will ride out of Dallas on this Grand Prize.

"NACE is celebrating 20 years as the No. 1 collision repair event, while Harley-Davidson marks 100 years of great motorcycles. This makes it even more exciting to give away this special anniversary motorcycle," said Dana Bellantone, NACE show director.

Dameron Chairs NACE 2002

Industry leader Chris Dameron, AAM, is the chairman of the NACE 2002 Attendee Advisory Council. Dameron, who is with True2Form Collision Repair Centers Inc. in Raleigh, N.C., is serving his second and final term in this position.

Dameron has led a 16-member committee to help develop the best possible event for attendees. As chairman, he will also be part of the NACE 2002 Opening General Session Dec. 6.

"It's an honor and thrill all rolled up in one to be the NACE 2002 chairman," said Dameron. "NACE becomes more and more important each year. It's an educator, a place to see the latest products and services and a great place to network. There's electricity in there, it's a one-of-a-kind event," added Dameron.

He has attended NACE as a shop owner or manager since 1987 and always participates in the educational program, learning new strategies and techniques to implement in his business. "In addition, at NACE you get to meet people face-to-face, which in many cases makes it easier to work with them down the road," said Dameron.

Dameron is ASA's Collision Division director and is actively involved in ASA-North Carolina and the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina.

NACE to Give Away Travel Package for 2003 Event

NACE will give away a travel package for two - including round-trip airline tickets, hotel accommodations and full congress registration packages - to NACE 2003 in Orlando, Fla., Dec. 4-7.

ADP Claims Services Group will handle the drawing registration. Attendees can register for the giveaway by visiting the ADP booth (No. 2009) and having their ExpoCard swiped through one of the many readers that will be available. The drawing will take place at the close of NACE and the winner does not need to be present to win.
