Good Deed Recognized
ASA member Brian Olson, owner of Olson Paint and Body, Inc., in Peru, Ind., was selected as the grand prize winner in the "Good Deed of the Month Contest." The contest is sponsored by the Good News In-Deed magazine, which is published in cooperation with Peru/ Miami County, Ind., Chambers of Commerce. Olson was chosen as the winner for helping a group of men who were experiencing vehicle trouble on their way back to Michigan after attending a Promise Keepers Convention in Indianapolis. Olson stopped to assist the men and determined the alternator needed to be replaced. Knowing the men needed to return home that day, Olson did what he felt was the only option: loan the group his truck and offer to fix the vehicle. As the December/January winner, Olson received a 30-minute ride on the Goodyear blimp.
