This will be my last Chairman's Message in AutoInc. because I will be passing the chairman's gavel to Aaron Clements at the ASA Annual Convention in Nashville. I encourage all of our members to use everything available to you from the benefits package at ASA national. Most of our members use only a small portion of what's available to them.

I view ASA like a rain forest. A rain forest is a unique environment that furnishes everything needed to support a large variety of plant and animal life. ASA provides what you need to develop and maintain a healthy, growing auto service or collision repair center. Access to these benefits is already included in your dues, so call the membership department or use the Web-based ASA OnDemand benefits portfolio to find what you need to grow your business.

Also, a rain forest multiplies the plants and animals it supports. I ask you to help ASA by signing up one new member this year. It will help a fellow shop owner and the industry as a whole.

It has been a pleasure and honor to serve as your chairman this year. I can assure you that the board of directors and staff have worked very hard on your behalf this year, and you have gotten full value for your dues investment. I am proud to be a part of one of the greatest industries in the world and associate with the fantastic people in the auto service and collision repair industries.
