This site's simple design is effective in delivering a lot of content. A repair status mechanism allows customers to track the repair of their vehicle. A section titled "How It's Done" offers a slideshow of the repair process, complete with thorough explanations under each photo. Framed navigation allows for quick load-time and consistent design.

'NASCAR Performance Club' Created Exclusively for ASA Members

The NASCAR phenomenon isn't necessarily new. However, it has grown significantly over the past few years, becoming a global event. And as new racetracks are built throughout the United States, the audience and fan base is becoming exponentially larger. This is one reason ASA is so excited about being associated with the second largest sporting organization in the country.

But another reason this partnership is so remarkable is that it will form a community of ASA shops that will be assembled on NASCAR.com. Not only do ASA shops have the opportunity to become visible on one of the world's busiest Web sites, but NASCAR is also building a larger community by creating a password-protected area of its Web site exclusively for participating ASA national members.

When you sign up for the NASCAR Performance Network, you will establish a username and password for the new NASCAR Performance Club. And if you are one of the 75 million adults who consider themselves NASCAR fans, this is an exciting endeavor.

Beginning next month, participants in the program can enter this password-protected area through the "Automotive" page of the NASCAR Web site, or through the Members Only area of the ASA Web site. This section will deliver industry-related information, including technical and educational articles and service bulletins. In addition, ASA members will be able to participate in exclusive chats with NASCAR personalities and other ASA members. Discussion boards have also been developed pertaining to NASCAR-related topics and drivers.

Also within this password-protected area, participating ASA members can take advantage of exclusive discounts within the NASCAR.com Store.

If you haven't signed up already, visit the new Members Only area of ASA Web site for more details, including online enrollment. To access the Members Only area, click on "Member Login" from the top of the ASA home page and enter your six-digit ASA member number into both the name and password fields when prompted.

Net Numbers

Last year, NASCAR.com experienced more than 1 billion hits and was visited by 500,000 unique visitors a day.
