Oldsmobile's fancy two-tone paint scheme fits right in with the '50s, and its 202 horsepower “Rocket” V-8 was a powerful force in stoplight drag races. The powerful new engine went right along with power steering, brakes, windows and seat. Air conditioning was improved but still added a whopping $550 to the base price of $3,069 for this 1955 Ninety Eight Holiday Hardtop owned by David Soball. It has been refinished with PPG two-stage urethane in factory-original colors and sports the finned Fiesta-Starfire hubcaps.
