Throughout the next 11 months AutoInc. will highlight ASA history, as well as world history, as we take a look back at the events that have shaped our world and our association in the past 50 years.
Did you know...that in 1951 super glue was invented? Who knew that during the same year an association was founded to provide cohesion during the growth of the automotive service industry?
Did you know...that in 1951 power steering was created, and in 1953, radial tires were introduced? These two automotive components found their way into ASA shops and have now been there for half a century!
These neat and interesting facts are just some of the things we'll be sharing with you throughout the next year. The May 2001 issue of AutoInc. will feature our technology section as well as 50th anniversary highlights. It is an issue you will definitely not want to miss.
