ASA Board Member Named NATEF Chairman
Automotive Service Association (ASA) Chairman-Elect Donald C. Seyfer, an Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM), was named chairman of the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) board of trustees in November. Seyfer is owner of Seyfer Automotive, a mechanical service shop in Wheat Ridge, Colo.NATEF, a part of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), evaluates automotive technician education programs at secondary and post-secondary schools. Based on NATEF evaluation, ASE certifies the program.
ASE Announces New Executive Committee
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced its 1996 board of directors executive committee in November. Serving as chairman is Michael Brannan, manager of Service Development for Freightliner Corp., Portland, Ore. Albert Duebber, owner of Duebber's Automotive Service Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, is vice-chairman.
