The 1954 Buick Skylark, with Motorama-inspired styling, has a panoramic windshield and chrome tailight housings. In the second year of Skylark production, Buick improved the ride and made the car more solid by beefing up the frame. It was a bit quicker than its predecessor, with an increase in horsepower to 200. The sticker price of $4,483 was a $517 reduction from that of the 1953 model; nevertheless it was not considered a success, and was discontinued after only 836 were produced.
