NABC Calls For "Pride" Nominations
The National Auto Body Council (NABC) is receiving nominations for its second annual Collision Industry Pride Awards. The awards will be presented during the 1996 Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz., July 10-14. The Pride award will highlight "the best of the best" within the collision industry who unselfishly donate their time and talents to those less fortunate. Nominees must be employed in the collision industry (anyone can make nominations). Nomination forms may be obtained by calling NABC at (508) 668-3792, or fax a request to (508) 668- 0357. Nominations submitted without a form must include the names, phone numbers and addresses of both the nominee and the person making the nomination, as well as a description of the nominated activity and any substantiating documents. Nominations must be received by May 15, at NABC's offices at 12 Carriage Lane, Walpole, Mass. 02081. All nominations will be reviewed by an independent committee composed of industry members.

Fel-Pro Offers Automotive Scholarships
Fel-Pro Inc. is again sponsoring the Fel-Pro Automotive Technicians Scholarship Program, which provides financial aid to qualified students studying to become automotive technicians. As in previous years, the program offers up to 270 students in the United States and Canada awards of as much as $500 to help them pursue full-time study. The application deadline is May 1. Speaker's Kit Available From I-CAR
To help reduce the shortage of quality entry-level technicians, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) Education Foundation has available a Smart Jobs/Smart People Speaker's Kit. The kit is a presentation tool designed to promote the satisfying and rewarding careers in the collision industry to both adult and youth audiences. Complete with a 10-minute video, career-oriented handouts, stickers, lapel pins and a script, the kit can serve as a guide for presentations to a variety of groups. ADP Division Changes Name, Signs Contract With Insurer
The newest division of ADP Claims Solutions Group, National BioSystems, has changed its name to ADP Integrated Medical Solutions (IMS). IMS, which provides software for the processing of medical claims, recently announced its entry into a three-year contract with Progressive Insurance. Under the agreement, IMS will license to Progressive its computerized auditing system for medical bills, Provider Bill Audit (PBA). The new version of PBA that Progressive will use under the contract is noteworthy, as it has been engineered to fit the requirements of Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks.
