Agenda | AMI Seminar: You Have the Right to Repair | Register Online! |
| It's a year of changes, and you're invited! Please mark
your calendar to attend the Automotive Service Association's 2004 Annual Business Meeting April 16-17 at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, Texas. Be in the driver's seat of your association during these
two information-packed days.
This year's gathering is shorter and more business-oriented than those of years past. Friday's events include the ASA Executive Committee Meeting, the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) Trustee Meeting, the ASA Executive Directors Meeting and the ASA Board of Directors Reception and Dinner. Saturday will include an AMI seminar, You Have the Right to Repair. This course will show you how to effectively manage OEM service information and attendees will earn four credits toward AMI's Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation. Saturday will also include a meeting of the ASA Affiliate Assembly and the State of the Association Address. The afternoon will bring the first ASA board meeting of the year where, among other business, ASA Chairman Kevin Caldwell, AAM, will pass the gavel to Chairman-Elect Geralynn Kottschade, AAM. Award presentations and the AMI graduation ceremony previously held during this event have been scheduled for Nov. 5, 2004, during ASA's Industry Week events. Watch for further details about ASA's Celebration of Excellence, a special evening function at the Flamingo Las Vegas honoring ASA members. For the first time, Industry Week in Las Vegas will include both the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) and the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE). |
