Raven Golf ClubThe Raven Golf Club at Sandestin is masterfully carved through the marshes, wetlands and pine trees of Sandestin, Florida. Robert Trent Jones Jr., crafted this unique and visually stunning 6,900-yard, par 71 course into what he calls "a true modern traditional."

Voted best new course in Florida in 2000 by Florida Golf News, the Raven is a natural wonder that presents drama and strategy on every tee. Guests are presented with a myriad of exciting shot options while experiencing dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the course. Combine all this with The Raven Golf Club's nationally recognized guest service, and you'll see why The Raven is a must-play during your stay. See for yourself why Golf Magazine says "the Raven gives the region its first true marquee resort course."

Optional Tours
Wesley Mansion & Seaside

Wesley Mansion The Wesley mansion, built in 1897, is a fully renovated turn-of-the-century Greek Revival home. Surrounded by sweeping lawns, majestic gardens and 600-year-old oaks, the mansion features the city's largest collection of Louis XVI court furniture. Tours of the mansion will be conducted by a Park Service Specialist while tours of the garden will be led by a master gardener. Afterwards, enjoy a private lunch at one of the area's most exclusive restaurants.

Following lunch, stroll, shop or walk the beach in the charming planned community of Seaside. Developed in 1980, Seaside is today recognized as the birthplace of the New Urbanism movement and has inspired other traditional neighborhoods taking shape across the country. In 1997, Seaside was the filming location for the movie The Truman Show starring Jim Carrey. The village consists of 300 pastel houses, picket fences, gardens, restaurants, shops, a church, school and its own post office. Time magazine called Seaside "the most astounding design achievement of its era."

Antiques, Arts & Treasure Shopping

Tour three of the most upscale and well-known antique shops in the area. Guests on this tour will be split into groups so as not to overcrowd the smaller shops, but will reunite for lunch at one of Destin's most popular restaurants overlooking the Gulf. Custom menus will be presented offering a choice among three entrees especially prepared for you by a master chef.

After lunch, the entire group will travel to the largest store where you can browse the offerings of 90 vendors featuring wares from around the world.
